Actor Todd Williams Q&A:”San Andreas” Movie In theaters May 29th

From playing Dr. Geyer as Liam’s stepdad on the hit MTV series “Teen Wolf” to playing the intense vampire hunter on yet another hit series “The Vampire Diaries” the Tall and talented Todd Williams has played multiple characters over the years but amongst them all, which role could possibly be the actors favorite?

Q: Which character has been you favorite to play and why?

A: I don’t have a favorite. There’re individual challenges to each of them. The purpose of television and film is to shine a light on the human conditions to the masses that they may not know about or can sympathize with.

Q: What do you love most about playing these roles?

A:What I love most about playing different characters is having an experience that can be from a fictional or non fictional origin. It allows me to explore different areas of myself. These characters are all pieces of me that are amplified wether it’s their fears, pain, regrets, insecurities, etc.

Q:What can you tell us about the premiss of the movie?

A: Well You have Dwayne Johnson who plays “Ray”, a search and rescue pilot for the LA fire department. When we meet him, he’s going through personal things with his family. Its not that he and his wife were at separated because they were at odds but because he became married to the job. His wife moves into another relationship. His daughter is growing up and leaving for college so everyone is migrating away as a unit. The earthquake is the catalyst that drives him to save his family and bring them together.

Q: What can you tell us about the your character in this film?

A: I play Marcus who is one-fourth of the rescue team who happens to be Rays best friend. I kind of reiterate to him to make things right with his family. I’m the one that kinda tells him he’s fucking up but not in those words, he says jokingly.

“When the world is crumbling around your in fear for your life with no guarantee of tomorrow, who are you going to look to or spend your last moments with? Maybe even wished you would have said that one thing to someone. As a result, the movie is more about family then the actual earthquake”, William says. With such a thought provoking and action packed film, who wouldn’t want to see the most anticipated movie of the summer? In theaters Everywhere May 29th
