The Apple News App will open up to all publishers this week to attract more readers.
This gives small media companies and independent bloggers the chance to sign up, giving them access to the Apple publishing tools. This was first confirmed by Bloomberg news. Apple wants to step up against other news services like Facebook, Google and many others. It also allows advertisers to put banners within news articles. This is a big step in what Apple can be in the coming years.
“Apple will also make it easier for publishers to view data — such as how many unique viewers read an article, how long they spent reading it, and how often they shared it,” adds Bloomberg, citing a source that asked not to be identified according to TechnoBuffalo.
