Atlanta hip-hop rappers Daye Jack, Killer Mike collaborated in the song “Hands Up” about their growing frequency of officer-involved shootings.

Jack at 20 years old shares his insight with veteran wordsmith Mike on tackling the polarizing conversation to uplift a pained community. The track was montage in an alley of Los Angeles directed by David Gallardo, who directed Of Monster Of Men, Young Jeezy and Jhene Aiko. Gallardo talks about the montage showing these critical events.

“The montage served as a way to show that despite the tragic subject matter, it brought people together from all walks of life in solidarity about something that should not be tolerated,” explains Gallardo.
