If you knew nothing about Beyoncé‘s most recent body of work and related projects surrounding it, after this pass weekend, we’d swear you were living under a rock.
Beyoncé has once again shaken things up a bit with Saturday night’s world premiere exclusive HBO event launching the LEMONADE era with an hour-long film. That film featured the visuals for a dozen new tracks that make up the singer’s highly anticipated new visual album, which is already setting and breaking records.
With less than four days of digital-only sales and a price point of $18, LEMONADE has a projection expected to hit the 500-600k mark. By next week, Beyoncé will also extend her record as the only female artist to have all six consecutive studio albums since her debut land at the number one spot on the charts. Congratulations are definitely due.
We’re all giving the visual album a few days to sizzle, simmer and settle, but in the meantime, don’t be afraid to let us know what your initial thoughts are on it all. Are you enjoying what you see and hear so far? Are you even more excited now about the upcoming Formation World Tour?
