Big Park Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Show Presentation
New York, New York – On September 4, 2014, the Mondrian Rooftop in Soho, was the place to be for an inspirational Fashion Week kick off. Big Park, a Seoul based brand, introduced its sixth collection, “Wish You Were Here”, for Spring/Summer 2015.
CEO, Park Youn Soo, developed a visual creative concept with the Park sister’s, Sooy and Jay Park’s, artworks. Most notably: abstract paintings that capture moments and memories of the sibling’s travels. Reflecting their inspiration from the Korean country side; pastures of bunny rabbits, nature’s landscapes combined with the abstract natures of water, waves, and clouds. As well as a range of memorable moments, capturing faces at their happiest. This collection mixes street wear and sportswear with upscale and high-end signature pieces. The signature designer piece is the Biker jacket that mixes in itself all the qualities that one looks for in a casual jacket that can go from day to night. Further highlights of the collection include the unique shoes that exude the comfort of sneakers and the classic beauty of a Mary Jane, along with the instant transformation and wearability. Stones and silhouettes found in nature also serve as an inspiration to the collections hardware.
Although the brand exudes an oversized tone, it maintains a feminine quality that offers a unique feeling of undone structure and a relaxed attitude.
Fashion Show Production Company, Sensation of House, and X’Tige PR joined forces to help Big Park create an ingenious fashion show presentation, which displayed the Spring/Summer 2015 collection on the beautiful ladies of Major Models, with hair done by Avi Edri and makeup by ChiChi Saito. DJ Juli-Lee delivered an upbeat performance that got the crowd in the spirit of New York City Fashion Week. The event was off to a fabulous start, and the excitement continued as the who’s who of fashion trickled into Sonny’s Soda Shoppe on the Mondrian Rooftop. With fashion influencers and Big Park followers such as; Model Irene Kim, Fashion Designer Angela Simmons, and Fashion Stylist / Blogger, Kat Lebrasse, the stylish guests started NYFW with a bang! Among the mingling fashion forward attendees, CEO Park Youn Soo took it upon himself to look cool amongst the crowd and personally meet his beloved Big Park trend-setting followers.
