On music quality:
“My approach to music and the music industry since day one, lets say back to 1993, even before then, before I became an artist, was always about doing quality…let me prove who I am. Let me give them some vocal talent that I feel like some artists that are already out here, aren’t doing.”
On his musical approach today:
“Starting out, man, I was learning equipment. I mean I already knew how to play instruments. I mean it was a plus for me knowing how to play guitar, keys, and drums. So I had my rhythm section already stored…But putting a record together. Like I mentioned about Jeremy Lewis, these other different tunes that I got after my first record, I can now apply to moving forward and everything I do. I go with the most simple idea.”
