Welcome to Part 2 of Teedra Moses’ interview with Bleu Magazine’s BleuTV. Check out Teedra’s conversation with managing editor Reginald Larkin as she talks her career, her journey, and her sons.
On her career thus far:
I’ve never laid on my back to get anything. I’ve never done a lot of the things people do to get extra emphasis on them to make them shine. I just use what I have, and I’m grateful to God for what I have. I’ve gotten to a point where it is what it is. I have enough to get where I’m trying to go.
On 3 words that describe her journey:
I think it’s been determination, persistence, and (it’s two words, maybe we’ll make it a compound word for now) learned experience. I know exactly who I am as an artist. I refuse, I’d rather not do it before I let a label come in and say ‘Naw, we think you should be like this’ or anyone.
On the one thing she needs in life:
My sons Ras and Taj. Yeah I’m a super mom (laughs).
