Bloomingdales has decided to parent up with the NBA for the NBA All-Star Game set to take place here in NYC at Madison Square Garden on February 15th. Following suit with their previous success with their collaboration with the NFL for last year’s Superbowl, the choice to team up with the NBA seemed like an automatic score for Bloomingdale’s president of men’s fashion direction, Kevin Harter. Coining NBA players as, “sartorial leaders” and inspiration for men who are interested in dressing well, Harter feels that this collaboration will keep fans and Bloomingdales customers in the loop with pop-culture. Based off of the the recent surge and influence of NBA player’s interest in fashion spread all through out social media outlets and pre-game press photos,  NBA’s players passion for fashion is apparent.

Shooting guard for the Houston Rockets, James Harden will be the face of the this collection featuring; retro-era jerseys, vintage graphic T-shirts and accessories from brands including Mitchell & Ness, Sportiqe, Junk Food, Been Trill, Mark McNairy and Stance. Being sold at only 16 Bloomingdale’s locations nation wide, this collection is most certainly a must have. Make sure you’re one of the first to get you your hands on this limited ASAP.
