Cash Money v. Lil Wayne

Lilwayne wtf

Lil Wayne wasn’t playin’ when he said he wanted out and now he’s filed a lawsuit against Birdman to end his contract said TMZ.

According to Wayne, Birdman violated the contract by withholding tens of millions of dollars owed to Wayne for his long-delayed album “Tha Carter V” said TMZ.  Wayne claims he was suppose to receive an $8 million dollar advance for recording the album and $2 million for completing it, but hasn’t received anything yet. Wayne is also demanding an additional $51 million said TMZ.

Wayne also claims to have had other problems with Cash Money such as the label failing to file royalty reports for Young Money artist, Drake said the Daily News.

Wayne wants to also maintain control over all Young Money artist such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Christina Milian, Lil Twist, and Mack Maine, who’s also the label’s president, saying their contracts are under Wayne’s label, possibly screwing up the distribution deal Cash Money has with the label.

Lil Wayne vented his frustrations with the label last month on Twitter and it sounds like he’s had it up to HERE.

Sounds like trouble in paradise…
