Chance the Rapper Performs Kanye West’s “Ultralight Beam”

Chicago lyricist Chance the Rapper took the stage last night in Raleigh, NC to perform “Ultralight Beam,” the popular track his verse is featured on from Kanye West’s new The Life of Pablo album released on Valentine’s Day this year.

Chance to the time to ask fans in the audience to help him by reciting West’s lyrics from the Swizz Beatz assisted record. The Life of Pablo received generally positive reviews and was streamed an impressive 250 million times within the first ten days of its exclusive release on Tidal, according to CNN Money.

Around the time of promotions and finishing touches for The Life of Pablo, Chance was blamed for being the hold up in the album’s official release date. Kanye tweeted that Chance really wanted a song called “Waves,” which features Chris Brown, on the album so things had to be shuffled around just a little in the home stretch.

It may not be certain that Chance is going to add the song to his set list, but we’re certainly going to expect more live performances featuring both rappers in action. Check out the footage from last night’s show via Complex and don’t forget to rap the verses you know, too.
