Cleveland Browns cut ties with Johnny Manziel after being involved in another incident with the police. The police are investigating an incident between Manziel and his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley. The team’s football operations Sashi Brown set out a statement indicating the decision on possibly letting him go according to Twitter.

There were early reports after the hiring of Hue Jackson that Manziel wouldn’t be part of the future. He hasn’t been the most consistent person off the field at the quarterback position. Only the owner wanted him to be on the team for the fans. He wanted them to cheer for him being a possible star like LeBron James is now. Jackson said earlier this week about the disappointment of him acting like an immature person. It’s safe to say him leaving is good for the team, but might be a bad decision if he ends up becoming a good quarterback in the NFL.
“My general reaction would be disappointment,” Jackson said according to Yahoo Sports. “As I’ve said many times, I would like for the Cleveland Browns’ players to conduct themselves in a manner that represents the organization well. Obviously, that reflected differently on what we want to have happen. Obviously, it’s a process that we’re going through, and we’ll continue to go through it.”
