Only about a week after Fast and Furious star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made scathing remarks towards his fellow co-stars, calling them “candy a***s,” star Vin Deisel has come out into the spotlight to express gratitude for his cast despite the ongoing feud.
Johnson’s comments were likely aimed at his co-star, when he took to Instagram last week and said that his fellow castmates weren’t “sh*t” and were “candy a***s” and commented on their rude onset behavior. While Johnson did not release any names, it was widely accepted that he was actually targeting Vin Deisel.
Deisel took to the same social media outlet to exclaim his happiness and gratitude for having been able to work with his fellow castmates on the movies and said, “Though intense at times, I am grateful to the entire cast… Every single one of them we brought on has shined because of their commitment. Always count your blessings.” This was captioned under an image of his one year old daughter Pauline, who was named after fellow star Paul Walker, who died tragically in 2013.
The next Fast & Furious movie is set to release in April of 2017. Fast 8 will be the first full length film without Walker.
