Eminem expects to make noise in the fourth quarter of 2017 dropping his ninth solo album this fall, according to HitsDailyDouble.
The Slim Shady teased this upcoming album last year when he released his “Campaign Speech” song and said this on Twitter: “Don’t worry I’m working on an album! Here’s something meanwhile.” According to Fuse, “The Defiant Ones” director Allan Hughes said last month that Dr. Dre is working on the album and provided interesting information.
“Dre still records. People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day,” Hughes said. “He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album. So Dre’s still real active in music.”
Old school hip-hop fans are excited for the return of Eminem. His last solo album was “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” which was released in 2013 and received positive reviews. He was the 14th artist this year in album, song and stream sales despite not making much music. Eminem may rise up in sales if the ninth solo album turns out to be a major hit before the year is over.
