Yesterday, Funimation Films didn’t disappoint the fans in providing an advance screening of the hit Japan movie “Shin Godzilla, co-directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi.
Rising celebrities such as Stranger Things‘ best buddies Finn Wolfhard and Caleb McLaughlin joined in on the unforgettable experience, taking photos before the film. Also Game of Thrones‘ Jack Gleeson came along with his friend eating a lot of popcorn and soda. Others media groups, besides Bleu Magazine, made it as well. They were all clapping after the movie was done, basically giving it a thumbs up on its performance. The whole theater was silent from the beginning of the movie to end.
This film provided entertainment, laughable moments and stunning visual effects. The director of the film combine with a solid cast made it much more better in terms of story than the United States remake. Let’s face it when Bryan Cranston died in that version, the movie didn’t really justified what the monster was. They made the creature seem like a hero more so than an evil, evil monster destroying homes and people.
This version of the film gives viewers what Godzilla is and should be all about. A freak of nature who destroys everything in it’s path, doesn’t care about saving others from another creature.
The film debuts in US theaters from Oct 11-18. Check out the full synopsis and trailer below. Tickets are now pre-purchase at www.funimationfilms.com/
