It just keeps getting worse in the world of Cash Money. Former Hot Boys rapper, Turk, is reportedly suing Cash Money records for $1.3 million said TMZ.
According to Turk, he’s suing Cash Money $1.3 million in unpaid royalties, the rights to his music and for “shady accounting” on part of Birdman and Cash Money said TMZ. In an interview with HipHopDX, Turk felt like he was taken advantage of early in his career.
“I felt like I got the short end of the stick on my deal when I was younger,” he said “People die from lack of knowledge. When we don’t know we got to suffer for that.”
Turk is one in a number of artist complaining about problems within Cash Money records. Last Week the news broke of Lil Wayne suing them for $51 million for music rights and non-payment for completing his album “Tha Carter V”. Tyga also blamed Cash Money for delaying his album “The Gold”.
According to XXL magazine. Universal records, the company responsible for the distribution for Cash Money, is telling Birdman to end the suit with Wayne immediately.
