Most viewers look at some of their best actors on television performing everyday live roles, but some are perfect when it comes to be a African American doctor.
JLouis Mills plays Forester on NBC’s new drama “HEARTBEAT”, acting as a resident Perfusionist. Mills first started his career in television and film as a background performer in the film “Waiting to Exhale”. He knew from that point on that, acting was his dream. Mills took acting classes and did small roles in independent films before suffering an eye injury, keeping him out for a year. Then he met with his present agent in an acting workshop, and from that point on, he started to do bigger roles.
Check out other African American actors on top of the post who started out as doctors, and check “HEARTBEAT” every Wednesday at 8 on NBC.
