Jay Electronica dissed Kendrick Lamar back in February live on Periscope stating, “Kendrick would tell you himself he couldn’t body me. Kendrick is my son. Kendrick is my baby. Kendrick wishes he could be me.” In addition to the slander, he proceeded to take jabs at 50 Cent as well on “#TBE  The Curse of Mayweather”, holding no punches describing that 50’s “on some sucker sh*t”. In response to Jay’s comments, Kendrick also took a jab at Elec on his “untitled, umastered” album on “07 Untitled”, rapping “I could never end a career if it never start” Two months after the incendiary comments made by Electronica, he took to Twitter to apologize to both artists and a plethora of other artists such as PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chris Brown & Vince Staples. Concluding the swarm of hostility, Jay asked the artists to “Forgive [his] past transgressions.
