For many people obsessed with the world of fashion, the September Issue of Vogue is equivalent to the Holy Bible, and this year’s cover girl is none other than fashion’s current “IT” girl, Kendall Jenner.
In the cover story, Kendall speaks about the lonely life of being a model, how seriously she takes her career, and her first experience with Caitlyn Jenner.
On the comparisons between her and her sisters, Kendall says that she has always felt different from them. “I’ve always been superdifferent from all my sisters, especially my Kardashian sisters. They’ve always been into the glam thing and dressing up every day and being in the thick of it. Part of me loves that, but at the same time, I love dressing down and having my private life. It’s almost, like, empowering to know that no one knows we’re sitting here right now—because it’s not usually like this.”
As for Kendall’s future plans within the industry, she’s thinking long-term. “This is a career,” Kendall said. “I want this to last for a long time. Not that I won’t venture out and do other things, but I want this to be like a Cindy Crawford thing. I want it to last until I am her age.
