The losing for the New York Knicks continues to be a trend after being 22-22 as the Toronto Raptors destroyed them 122-95 at Madison Square Garden.

The Raptors did whatever they want against the Knicks, offensively and defensively. Kyle Lowry had a triple double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. DeMar DeRozan had 22 points and becoming the winningest player in Raptors history. From the second quarter on, they controlled the game despite being down early by the end of the first quarter. Lowry thanked his teammates for reminding him getting one more rebound to get his triple double as the All Star continues to play at a high level.

It’s crazy how much these guys really support me and I support them and we just support each other. So I mean, it makes our jobs a lot easier when you have that friendship and that camaraderie,” Lowry said according to the Associated Press.

The Knicks on the other hand, look like they don’t want to play. The positive side, Robin Lopez had 21 points and 13 rebounds. Carmelo also had 23 points and 11 rebounds despite dealing with knee soreness. They are veterans who aren’t use to losing this much. Knicks continue to play awful defense as if what they do in practice is nothing.

When you’re not on the same page out there on the court it’s hard to communicate with one another,” Anthony said. ”And for most of the game we weren’t communicating with each other.

The frustration is piling up on Melo, who wants to win in New York. But the season may be over in March if things don’t improve tremendously.
