The french band LACOSTE, known for iconic polo-shirts and sport-inspired premium casual wear, is the official apparel provider of the PGA Tour’s Presidents Cup tournament. The brand is starting with the 2017 event at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, N.J.
“LACOSTE has an authentic sports history and our Presidents Cup sponsorship will position us as an authority in the golf world, especially in the United States market,” said Joëlle Grünberg, President and CEO of LACOSTE North America. “LACOSTE is excited to partner with this prestigious tournament taking place so close to one of our key markets, New York City.”
LACOSTE will also outfit the U.S. and International teams as well as the PGA Tour and Presidents cup staff, VIP guests, the Presidents Committee, The Honorary Chairman and Match Committee. The brand is meant to be featured prominently in a 20,000-square foot retail space, in the Presidents Cup Merchandise Shop.
