Miguel, in a radio interview with radio station HOT 97, he went into detail about the naming and meaning behind the album Wildheart and his relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Nazanin Mandi after one of the host expressed admiration for his relationship.
I really am wild-hearted. I’m wild at heart, he said. It just means that I follow my instincts. That’s what this album is about. She’s learned that. She’s had to adjust. Had to learn and also embrace, and I love her more for that.
The singer also teased that there will be “something really special visually for the music on this album”, that he didn’t have on his previous album Kaleidoscope Dream. He also revealed to have collaborated with Pharrell on his last album and had a few unreleased tracks with him.

According to a statement sent to Entertainment Weekly, there were reports claiming he was told not to do so.
The album release date will be June 30
