NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four Preview

via USA Today

Only four teams (South Carolina, Gonzaga, Oregon, and North Carolina) are left in the 2017 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament. Each one of them have the offense and defense to do whatever it takes to win a game. These remaining coaches are able to make adjustments as well, understanding game situations in pivotal moments. Here’s our Final Four preview that could be as competitive as the other rounds.

South Carolina vs Gonzaga

via sportsinformationreaders.com

South Carolina are the underdogs in this matchup against a hot Gonzaga squad. Coach Frank Martin took the program to its first Final Four appearance, beating great teams like Duke and Florida. Their ability to put pressure on the defensive end is what got them this far. They need to grab more rebounds over Gonzaga and have another stellar performance by Sindarius Thornwell to pull the upset. But it’s gonna be tough considering how talented Gonzaga is. Despite rebounding issues and allowing second-chance opportunities, the team can still dominate with ball movement and spacing the court. If Przemek Karnowski gets going early, it’s gonna be tough for them to lose. This matchup comes down to the little things and being able to box out as a team. Gonzaga finds a way to win by making key jumpers and moves on to the finals.

Score Prediction: Gonzaga 75, South Carolina 70

North Carolina vs Oregon

via vegascoverage.com

Last year North Carolina lost a heartbreaking game against Villanova in the Finals. Now they have an opportunity to make it back trying to beat a feisty Oregon squad, led by coach Dana Altman. North Carolina’s high-scoring offense averages 85.5 points and score against any defense in the country. They also have a great defense in case it comes down to grind out performances. They’ll have a tough task in containing Oregon’s outstanding trio of Tyler Dorsey, Dillon Brooks and Jordan Bell. Dorsey averaging 24.5 points and shooting 67 percent in the tourney, Bell has three double-double in four games and Brooks averaging 16.5 points in complementing the trio. Altman needs these three to play their best game against North Carolina. It’s gonna be a high-scoring matchup and will come down to defensive stops. Coach Roy Williams of North Carolina gonna be make sure that he doesn’t blow his chance on winning a national championship this year.

Score Prediction: North Carolina 81, Oregon 75
