Nike returns its campaign for LGBT causes by unveiling the “Be True” collection that would launch on June 1 in honor of LGBT Pride Month.
“Sporting your rainbow in the gym or on a run became a way to feel like you belonged to something larger – you were connected to being ‘out’ or being an ally,” said Nike’s LGBT Leader Rober Gorman. “The rainbow has and always will be incorporated into the Be True product in some way.”
Gorman really wanted the brand to use this year’s collection for creating something that people would use to support LGBTQ athletes. The collection will include some of the most popular shoes (Nike classic Cortez, Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34, Nike Lab Air VaporMax) with these colors and including Dri-FIT tanks, t-sthirts and running socks for both men and women.
This campaign is build upon Nike’s equality drive, which featured famous individuals such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Michael B. Jordan, etc. Be on the looks for this collection once June arrives.
