“The Pinkprint” Album Review

Tis the Season, and Nicki Minaj is back with her 3rd Album titled The Pinkprint released by Young Money, Cash Money and Republic Records. Looking to depart from the dance-pop elements from her second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012), Minaj wanted to make a follow-up record influenced by her traditional hip hop beginnings. The album has been supported by the singles “Pills n Potions”, “Anaconda”, “Only”, and “Bed of Lies”. “Anaconda” peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and has become Minaj’s highest-charting single to date in the United States. She collaborated with artist like Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Skylar Grey, Drake, Lil’ Wayne, Meek Mill, Jeremih, Lunchmoney Lewis and a All-Star list of Producers such as Allen Ritter, Alex da Kid, Arch Tha Boss, Boi-1da, Breyan Isaac, Cardo, Chinza//Fly, Cirkut, Da Internz, Detail, DJ Camper, Dr. Luke, Hit-Boy, Jacob Kasher, JMIKE, Johnny Juliano, Kane Beatz, Mike Will Made-It, Nineteen85, Parker Ighile, Polow da Don, Pop Wansel, Rob Holladay, RockCity, Sak Pase, Steven Mostyn, TODAY, Vinylz, will.i.am, Yung Berg, Yung Exclusive, and Zaytoven. It’s worth a listen, so get out there and purchase your copy of the album.
