TechStyle NYC hosted it’s Urban Oasis event on Sunday July 10th, to celebrate some of the industry’s newest innovators in fashion, lifestyle, and tech. The event occupied five stories of a private residence in NYC decked out with an indoor swimming pool, serene sky views, in a clean-modern interior design space sure to deliver the best lighting and atmosphere for selfies.
The event was the ultimate weekend party get-away for key digital-media, fashion, and beauty innovators.
Brooklyn based 3D printing company, GEMELA who dazzled the event with it’s display of art and designed LIVE 3D printing showcase. The pieces are hand crafted out of wax carvings, and metal smithing.
Wearable tech brand XISTWEAR was the envy of lustful guest for its fashion-functional bracelets and bands made for apple products. Available in multiple sizes and assortments, the wearable tech offers a seamless ‘smart’ transition from day to night.
Keeping it flashy at the events was customizable LED apparel brand Flashion Statement. Using an “Electroluminescent” panel (also know as “EL”) on it’s t-shirts to emit flashing graphics, the fun-filled shirts became something to talk about amongst attendees once finding out how they worked. The shirts are activated by sound, and emit different patterns in response to music and other noises. You had to see it for yourself.
Candi Obrentz, creator of RestoPresto, creates the perfect compact solution with her versatile, waterproof outdoor occasion pouch. The pouch converts to a versatile soft extra layer that can be laid out on the grass allowing users to enjoy the sun’s radiant glow at the park.
Bringing sustainability with its streetwear fashion line, Heisel demonstrated its cool 3D printed, reflective-designed accessories. Each guest got to leave with a protective envelope made for the 13” MacBook Pro and Air all made from eco-fi plus, a high-quality polyester fiber made of 100% certified recycled plastic PET bottles.
EZVIZ kept up with all the live action at the event with its easily accessible wireless cameras. The camera works as a home surveillance automation tool and even connects live through social media.
