Rihanna: The First Black Woman To Be The Face Of Dior

Dressed all in pink at the Christian Dior Cruise 2015 Show in New York City

Guess what Navy? It’s official, Rihanna will be replacing Charlize Theron as the representative for French fashion brand Dior, becoming the first black woman as the face of this brand said the International Business Times.

As originally reported by WWD, Rihanna will be featured in Dior’s ‘Secret Garden’ where the models strut around the palace of Versailles in Dior gowns. The video also includes a print and film campaign, which will be shot by Steven Klein, scheduled to run this spring.

This is one of many accomplishments for the Grammy-award winning singer where she also graced the cover of Balmain and recently became creative director at Puma. This also counts as an improvement for the fashion industry since they are notorious for their lack of diversity said the Huffpost.
