Seahawks Russell Wilson Signed 4 Year Contract, Becomes Second Highest Paid QB
It took many months to hash out a deal, but Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson signed a four year $87.6 million extension with the organization according to Peter King of Sports Illustrated on Yahoo Sports.
This contract makes Wilson the second highest paid quarterback in the league. It also makes a $31 million signing bonus to a total of $60 million dollars through the 2019 season. He will make around $22 million a season, which is second behind Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The two sides went back and forth but in the end they need him more than he needs them.
