Recently Bleu had the opportunity to catch up with one of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers lethal 3 point shooter, Kareem Rush. The remarkable shooter played with Hall of Famers Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant back in 2004. The Lakers became the Western Conference Champions, with the help of Kareem’s shooting of course but fell short to the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals.
Years passed and Kareem found himself in various cities playing for different organizations but he still maintained to showcase his skills. In 2009, he faced a devastating injury, an ACL tear, while wearing a Los Angeles Clippers uniform. Kareem did not let this set back get the best of him. During his road to recovery, Kareem focused his energy in making music. His debut album “Rehabbing R&B,” hit the Billboards top 40 with a hit single called “Promises-Hold You Down,” in 2010 and he is currently working on his sophomore album “The Gentleman“. Take a moment to catch up with Kareem, as Bleu had the pleasure to get the details first hand.
