From real estate to runways, the “Fabulous” Rodney Foster has always had an eye for the “Best of the Best”. Getting his start as a real estate agent, this Washington DC native not only had an eye for prized property, but also, a keen sense of style. Being recognized as one of the Nations capital’s “best dressed”, foster soon found himself setting along side reality star Traci Braxton on her new internet radio show, “The Traci Braxton Show.”
Bleu catches up with the “Fashionisto” to discuss fashion, his other ventures, and much more.
Bleu: Everyone refers to you as the “Fabulous” Rodney Foster, how did you receieve that moniker?
I received the moniker “Fabulous” from friends and associates in my social circles. Often times people come up to me out in public and say “Wow, you are Fabulous…or You Look FAB”…so thats a title that I wear with pride and a reputation that I plan on keeping….just look at me….!
Bleu: Tell us where you’re from originally ….
I was born and raised in the Nations Capitol, Washington DC, where my President is Black and My First Lady is a Fashionista!
Bleu: How long have you been working in radio, and what would you do if you were not doing radio?
I have been working in radio for a year. I think I naturally have the “gift of gab” and being fabulous helps as well. LOL. If I was not working in radio, I would be living the fabulous life in Germany and developing my brand of “Hot Spiced and Mulled Wine”- Edelheiss. But since I’m here in the US, I’m working on getting Edelheiss distributed here in the states. I have set a Launch date for Fall/Winter 2014. Be on the look out for it!
Bleu: The Braxton family values is an extremely popular show, how is it working with Traci Braxton… Is she down to earth or a DiVA?
Working with Traci Braxton has been a great experience. She is just as down to earth as she is on the Braxton Family Values show. So to answer your question, No, we both understand that we are Divas and we get along well.
Bleu: How would you describe your personal style and what’s your favorite trend?
If I had to describe my style, I would say I love “Fun Fashions that are Trendy, Current, Classic and Conservative.
My Favorite trend would be whatever works on your individual body and whatever fits your style! You wear the clothes, don’t let the clothes wear you!
Bleu: Who are your style icons?
My Style Icons include Diddy, Pharrell and of Course the Fashionisto himself Kanye West.
Bleu: Who, on your iPod, is on repeat?
I love Music, I have my own personal concerts when im drving around DC. LOL! I love Stephanie Mills, Angela Windbush, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Future, Tamar Braxton, Toni Braxton….the list goes on and on!!!
