Most travel enthusiasts go to places in car or plane. They are easily the most common vehicles to have an adventurous time. But some forgot about trains, and there are three of them that provide epic journeys in the world.
1. Jasper to Vancouver, Canada
The iconic train ride from the ski resort of Jasper to Vancouver, Canada is a better option over the price Rocky Mountaineer train. The passengers look at the beautiful views and animals from observation cars, which is great considering how long the train is. It’s about $82 for a seat and $349 for a berth.
2. Chicago to San Francisco, USA
One of the longest trips in the world, roughly 52 hours traveling 2,437 miles from the California Zephyr. The train ride goes through Denver, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Colorado, and among other attractions. A seat is $108 and $385 for a cabin.
3. Cape Town to Johannesburg, South Africa
