Top Ranked Show ‘This is Us’ Leaves Us In Suspense

If you are a hardcore fan of NBC’s ‘This is Us,’ then you know it was ranked as #1 this past week. You will also be disappointed to find out that the newest episode will not be airing tonight.

If you watched last week’s episode then you saw the flashback of Jack’s (Milo Ventimiglia) funeral. This was a memory sparked by Kate (Chrissy Metz) releasing some deep-rooted emotions during a weight loss class, implying that the death of her father greatly impacted the life she has led up until this point.

As if trying to swallow the lumps in our throats from the heartfelt scenes and riding that emotional rollercoaster every Tuesday night weren’t bad enough, NBC is making us wait another week to see what happened to Jack. Why Rebecca (Mandy Moore) marries Jack’s best friend, Miguel. Now that is just cruel.

Viewers across the nation are going crazy in the Twitter-sphere coming up with different conclusions on how Jack could have died. Ventimiglia didn’t help matters much either. Two days ago he tweeted out, “Just read the season finale. Holy sh*t. Hang onto your loved ones you’re gonna need a hug.” The creator of the show, Dan Fogelman, also told Entertainment Weekly that the finale will be a “doozy.”

Fogelman, being the gracious man that he is, did disclose that the scattered fashion in which the past is shown throughout the season is all for a specific reason. The answers to our burning questions regarding Jack’s death can be found in each episode.

It looks like we are just going to have to watch tonight’s rerun to sustain us, and dissect the episode frame by frame to ultimately unlock some answers.

This is Us airs Tuesdays on NBC at 9 p.m. ET.
