Wade And Bosh Carried The Miami Heat Over A 102-98 Win Against the Brooklyn Nets
Miami’s dynamic duo of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh combined for 54 points, carried the Heat to a 102-98 win against the Brooklyn Nets.
Despite the team struggled lately offensively in other games, they still have a good defense. They are successful when they slow the pace and not giving up more than 90 points. Bosh and Wade play their roles at all times, knowing that everyone else needs to be aggressive.
”We have to be aggressive all the time, really, no matter who is in the game,” Bosh said according to Yahoo Sports . ”The team is looking for us to be effective all the time, especially late. That’s our job. Dwyane, he’s one of the best in the world at it. He’s going to get his shot and he’s usually going to make it. I just try to work off of him and shoot the ball with confidence and make plays when it’s time.”
Wade also added eights assists and four rebounds. He, along with other players on the team battled through injuries during the season. He is still one of the clutches players in the 4th quarter. Everyone knows that, including the Nets who were close for most of the game. Joe Johnson, who is playing better under Nets interim head coach Tony Brown scored 15 points, four rebounds and eight assists. Andrea Bargnani off the bench had 20 points. It wasn’t enough with a lack of talent on the roster competing against veterans know for big situations.
”Well, Wade and Bosh got us again,” Nets coach Tony Brown said. ”Down the stretch we were trying some different things to try and slow down the momentum. Wade was able to get away in some isolation situations and get off some good looks, and Bosh at the end of the second half, the isolations and open shots.”
