Warriors Chase For 73 Wins Won’t Matter If It Doesn’t Result In A Championship
The Golden State Warriors chase for 73 wins won’t matter if it doesn’t result in an NBA Championship.
Currently at 66-7, the pressure is clearly on for this franchise after winning a title last season against the Cleveland Cavaliers. They started out 24-0 with an interim coach in Luke Walton. Stephen Curry is having one of the best season’s ever, averaging 30 points a game, 5.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists. He’s making more threes than any other player in the league, breaking his own records and stamping himself as the greatest shooter of all time.
But it’s not just one player making play after play every game. The whole team is much better offensively than before. They rank number one in scoring with 115.5 points per game. The other players like Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green all are averaging in double figures. Each bench player can start for any team in the league, but are buying in on playing as one team. Defensively, they are efficient enough to overcome any good team. But will it matter if they don’t win the title?
