The Golden State Warriors moving closer t0 73 wins after a 102-94 victory over the Washington Wizards.
Coach Steve Kerr didn’t think they would be this great because of winning the title last season. But the team is playing together at a high level, having fun while staying focus on their ultimate goal which is another championship.
”As you go through the season and kind of get lost in the journey, we should be able to accomplish both: be a better team and better our record, which we’re on our way to doing,” said Stephen Curry according to Yahoo Sports. For us to be playing at such a high level for two straight years and have our eyes set on the ultimate goal, it’s fun.”
It’s fun for the team dominating most of the league two years in a row. Last night wasn’t different as Draymond Green 15 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists. Klay Thompson doing what he does adding 16 points and the bench outperforming the Wizards bench.
Already Curry and Thompson surpass most threes in one team with 611 in total together. They are shattering records left and right, proving the haters wrong that they can play with their style of basketball in this generation.
The Warriors are only 7 wins away from breaking the record with eight games left in the regular season. It would be a shame if they didn’t get the record, but they won’t care much if it results in an NBA title.
