Danielle Savre is an American actress that is known for her television roles “Heroes”,”Summerland” and, MTV’s scripted series “Kaya” just to name a few. Over the years she has performed as both an actress and a singer. In the scripted series “Kaya” Danielle showed her other talent, singing. She has gained attention for her independent films, and several short films that she has produced. Out of the several short films that she has produced the award winning film, KNOCK KNOCK, premiered at SXSW film festival, and was played at 30 film festivals worldwide. August 22nd TLC premiered their first scripted show on their network, “Too Close to Home” which Danielle Savre stars as the lead role, Ann. The Tyler Perry Production tells the story of Anna, a young women who left her trailer park upbringing in Alabama cutting off all ties with her family and past. She becomes an intern in Washington, D.C. as a political circuit, while starting a new life her friends in Washington soon believes she comes from a wealthy family, and no nothing of the real her. Anna soon becomes exposed when she finds herself at the center of a scandal after an affair with a married senator that makes national headlines. Anna is forced to return to her trailer park beginnings, where her past and everyone in it resurfaces to complicate things further.
