Comedy Actor, Will Ferrell made history as he suited up for 10 teams and played all positions last week according to MLB.com.
This was part of a HBO Special from Funny or Die partnership with Major League Baseball on supporting the fight against cancer.
Ferrell traveled to five Cactus League Stadiums and he started out the experience with an interview on Mike and Mike from ESPN Radio. He talks about raising $1 million dollars for charity and personal goals.
What if today I play out of my mind, and what if I make the regular roster? … That’s kind of what the goal of today is — I’m hoping to land with a club,” said Ferrell. “I have the physique a lot of people dream about having. It’s my obligation to share it with the world.
The ten teams he played for are the Athletics, Mariners, Angels, Cubs, D-backs, Reds, White Sox, Giants, Dodgers and Padres. He had a exhausted brief MLB career going 0-2 with two strikeouts and fielded the ball five times. He also threw one pitch with a 0.00 ERA and retired.
