Although a few weeks ago it was revealed that Kanye West’s second Yeezy collection was supposed to arrive at A.P.C. stores this July. It seems as though there has been a change of plans.
In an email sent to retailers from Yeezy’s new president Pete Fox, it was revealed that Yeezy season two will actually not arrive in stores this summer. In Fox’s words, “Yeezy season two will not be produced in its entirety or launched following a traditional fashion calendar.”
The collection will be dropping intermittently in small groups throughout the year. No word yet on how many pieces from the collection, and which ones will be produced. But many reports have previously indicated that at the very least, they will be less expensive than West’s unique season one.
There is good news though, season 2 footwear will be coming out soon. The new styles, which will not be produced with Adidas, and will be separate from the Yeezy Boost line, which are set to drop on June 6th.
